The next generation of insurance

By Claire Whitbread on

Scalzo and Whitbread - a proud history of working together.

Quin Scalzo | Executive Chairman of Scalzo Food Industries speaks about his company's relationship with Whitbread.

A relationship was forged with Quin through our company founder, the late John Whitbread. Our strong relationship continues today with the second generation leading the growth of both family businesses.

Scalzo Food Industries is an Australian family owned company which supplies food solutions to major food manufactures and suppliers in Australia and New Zealand.

To emphasise how Scalzo has grown since they began in 1977, Quin said, "If you are putting any nut product in your mouth, it's probably been manufactured by Scalzo."

Today, Scalzo is one of the top 60 companies in the Food and Manufacturing Industry.

And not satisfied with that achievement, the next generation has a BIG vision to be the leading, fastest growing family business in Australia and New Zealand.

He said that the key to Scalzo's growth has been his people's ability to be innovative and continually meet the evolving supply needs of his customers.

When asked what he believes has been his greatest achievement to date, Quin said. "My greatest triumph has been the second generation taking on the business."

Quin has four children Michael Scalzo, CEO Scalzo Food Industrles, Cathy Scalzo, General Counsel Scalzo Food Industries, David Scalzo, Managing Director Perri Projects and Christopher Scalzo, Creative Consultant Perri Projects.
