Whitbread Insurance Brokers - Major Sponsor of the 2011 Scope Golf Challenge
As part of Whitbread’s Community Engagement (WCE) charter to support charities and organisations with a focus on Poverty, Education and Health, Whitbread is the major sponsor of the 2011 Scope Golf Challenge.
Scope, formally known as the Spastic Society, is a not for profit organisation providing disability services that positively impact the daily lives of thousands of Victorian children and adults. Scope supports 7,757 people with a disability and their families across 92 sites in Victoria.
The Scope Golf Challenge will help raise much needed funds to assist in providing Choice, Freedom and Independence to people with a disability.
Michael Clarke, Whitbread Account Manager for Scope said, "We are very pleased to support the work of Scope Victoria, a client of ours since 1994. In the past Whitbread have sponsored the Hole in One competition, which we will do again this year. However we are delighted to announce that we are providing further financial support to this charity by sponsoring the golf day."
WCE sponsorship money will not be used to fund the golf day but will contribute directly to the services and capital works provided by Scope.
