Whitbread appoints new General Manager, Broking

By Michael Giansiracusa on

Whitbread Insurance Brokers are excited to announce the appointment of Andrew Saville to the position of General Manager, Broking.

As GM, Andrew will head up Whitbread’s Affinity and Commercial Insurance Divisions, including EngInsure. EngInsure is a burgeoning joint initiative between Whitbread and Engineers Australia, specialising in the provision of insurance advice and solutions for engineering professionals.

Throughout his career, Andrew has been part of the Whitbread team for over 10 years collectively.

Having spent the past 3 years at GSK Insurance Brokers, where he ran the company’s Melbourne office, Andrew made the decision to return to Whitbread when offered the chance to lead the company’s Affinity and Commercial Insurance Divisions.

Whitbread CEO Michael Giansiracusa says, “When the prospect arose to appoint a new GM of Broking, there was no doubt in our minds that Andrew would be the perfect fit.

“His extensive insurance experience, coupled with a history at Whitbread that sees him highly regarded by staff and clients alike, has made Andrew’s transition back into our organisation seamless. We are all excited by the qualities he brings as a leader in the business.”

In addition to his role as GM, Broking, Andrew is a member of Whitbread’s Leadership Team, and plays a key role in setting the strategic agenda for the company’s continued growth.
