Whitbread's Christmas hours & emergency claims assistance

Whitbread is closed on public holidays over the festive period. We will close from 2pm Tuesday 24th of December, reopening 8:30am on Friday 27th of December, 2019. Our office will also be closed on New Years Day, Wednesday 1st of January, 2020.

For urgent claims assistance during our closure period, we have included some helpful details below. From all the staff at Whitbread, we'd like to wish you and your family a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Emergency claims assistance

While our office is closed, we understand that emergency situations can arise where you may require urgent assistance.

What you can do:

1. First, contact your insurer

If an emergency situation arises, we recommend contacting your insurance company directly, to seek emergency assistance and commence the claims process as soon as possible.

If you know who your insurer is, please click here to view a comprehensive list of emergency hotlines for major Australian insurance companies.

We suggest printing or saving this list somewhere that is easily accessible to you.

2. If unsuccessful in contacting your insurer, call the 24 Hour Emergency Response Hotline to arrange make safe repairs - 1300 218 992

Whitbread has partnered with Johns Lyng Group, a market leader in the supply of specialist building and restoration services to the Australian insurance industry. Johns Lyng Group offers Whitbread clients a 24 hour Emergency Response Hotline service, providing emergency MakeSafe & Restoration services Australia-wide.

This service enables you to directly call a dedicated hotline in an emergency and speak to a representative. Your call will then be triaged to the appropriate technician, who will attend the loss address to mitigate damage.  

For all emergency property repairs, call the Johns Lyng hotline on 1300 218 992, stating the name and contact details of your Whitbread Broker.
